Option 2: Buy a domain name and hosting from a third party
The first step is to choose a domain name for your website. This should be something that reflects your brand or business and is easy for people to remember. You can use a domain name registrar like GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Bluehost to check if your desired domain name is available.
The next step is to choose a hosting provider. Many companies that sell domain names also sell hosting.
Choose a plan that fits your needs. Most web hosting providers offer several hosting plans. Shared hosting is the most affordable option and is usually suitable for small businesses and personal websites.
If you bought your domain from a different company to the hosting, you’ll need to connect the two. You can do this by updating your domain name server (DNS) settings to point to your hosting provider’s server.
Then you’ll need to give us access to your hosting account so we can build your website. Ideally, your host will allow you to create a user account for Wordshop, which means you won’t need to share your login details for us to get access.
